At the time it was known as the \u2018Ch\u00e2teau de la Lesse\u2019 and consisted of a main building and tower with two floors.\u00a0Lady Marie-Anne Damsel de Colnet was the first person to live in the castle. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ab225b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ab225b\" Ferdinand Louis de Villers-Masbourg, who passed it on to his three children in Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Guillaume Brugmann.\u00a0This Brussels banker had already become the owner of the famous Walzin Castle, which towers out on a rock above the river Lesse, in 1850.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff2854e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ff2854e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCastel Pont-\u00e0-Lesse then fell into very poor condition, so son Alfred Maurice Brugmann had it fully rebuilt over many years.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-498e0b8 elementor-reverse-mobile elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In 1914 the castle was again fully renovated by grandson Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Brugmann de Walzin, who added a third floor. He renamed the castle \u2018Kasteel van Pont-\u00e0-Lesse\u2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4e30c11 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4e30c11\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The castle was then sold in 1948 and tuned into a holiday centre.
